Four new dengue cases have been recorded in Gautam Buddh Nagar in the past ten days, bringing the total in the district to 20 cases.

Several residents stated that to stop the buildup of trash and rubbish, the concerned authorities have intensified their efforts. The administration is stepping up fogging and spraying of anti-larval drugs in an effort to reduce the mosquito issue.

The Health Department has ordered communities to immediately clean swimming pools in light of vector-borne diseases. If societies dont comply, the department has threatened to penalize them. The department has started organizing campaigns to raise awareness of vector-borne illnesses.

In the past 10 days, four new dengue patients have been discovered, according to district assistant malaria officer, Miss Shruti. Meanwhile, 13 cases were reported earlier in January and 3 cases in February. According to her, all private hospitals have been asked to alert the Health Department as soon as patients suspected of having dengue arrive at the emergency department.
